Mitch Sebastian began dancing at an early age and first appeared on the West End stage at the London Palladium at the age of 17. He has since appeared in 12 West End musicals among them CABARET, CHILDREN OF EDEN, FOLLIES, STARLIGHT EXPRESS, LA CAGE AUX FOLLES, CATS, LES MISERABLES, PACIFIC OVERTURE, THE WHO’S TOMMY. He has appeared in ridiculous numbers of TV shows and pop videos and toured the world appearing in concert with various artists.

Abandoning performing to choreograph he found instant success with West End productions of ROMANCE ROMANCE, LA CAVA and PLAYHOUSE CREATURES. He was stage director for a series of concerts for LONDON PHILHARMONIC ORCHESTRA under the baton of Kurt Masur and created a startling production of IOLANTHE for the D’Oyly Carte Opera Company.


His debut as a director and choreographer of PIPPIN – a radical reworking of Stephen Schwartz classic - had TIME OUT declare him “the future of British Musical Theatre…” The Evening Standard announced, “you leave the theatre singing the praises of Mitch Sebastian… a triumph of style.”

Mr Sebastian’s first West End production as director and choreographer, RATPACK LIVE FROM LAS VEGAS won him a Lawrence Olivier Award nomination and a Theatregoers Choice Award. The show ran in London for four years and continues to play in countries all over the world.

He directed RATPACK for American television and then created the seasonal smash hit CHRISTMAS WITH THE RATPACK, directed the Lawrence Olivier Award Ceremony and won a BAFTA as part of the creative team behind the animation series YOKO, JAKAMOTO, TOTO.
 Arena productions of CHICAGO, EVITA and FAME have been directed and choreographed by Mr. Sebastian around the world. He collaborated with creator of Neo Japanesque, OMOTE to create SAVIOUR IV and choreographed other large scale concerts for various artists around the world. 


In 2007 he opened the newly built KILWORTH HOUSE THEATRE with an outrageous, PIRATES OF PENZANCE. Followed in 2008 with a hugely successful, OKLAHOMA! The venue was then used to launch the World premier of his newly conceived epic, THE OPERA SHOW. His 2009 production of CRAZY FOR YOU caused The Telegraph to declare the 600 seat open air experience 
“Britain’s best kept secret”.

RATPACK re-opened in the West End at the Adelphi Theatre on 23-09-09 for a strictly limited season and is now on tour in the UK.

THE OPERA SHOW World Tour opened in the USA on 17-01-10 and is currently playing in Europe.
