This multi-million pound production was presented by Frederick M. Zollo and Barbara Broccoli at the Victoria Palace Theatre later transferring to the Piccadilly Theatre. An epic romantic drama set in medieval Europe and North Africa with tribal dances, battle scenes and intricate plot development. The movement and staging of this large-scale musical was a challenge. The outcome was spectacular.
